These Terms of Use may be changed from time to time. The most up-to-date Terms of Use will always be the ones that are posted on our website. Changes to our Terms of Use will be effective immediately upon our posting them on our website at 4hearts.coach
Security and Privacy of Messages
We promise to respect any personal data you share with us and keep it safe. We do not share your personal information except when it is necessary to break confidentiality (see Breaking Confidentiality below). We employ reasonable security measures to help protect the information you share with us. Despite these protections, we cannot guarantee protection from intruders, hackers, or interceptors. You use our services and submit personal information to us at your own risk.
Online Service
When using our online service, confidentiality is based on common law "duty of confidence" and is shared in real time between the caller and the conferencing service. Statistical operational information is recorded automatically such as the general geographical location, time of connection, and meeting duration.
Breaking Confidentiality
Users of our services are always encouraged to take responsibility for themselves and to get help from emergency services when necessary. Confidentiality will only be broken without consent if:
- a person is actively suicidal and has a plan to commit suicide;
- an act of self-harm has become life-threatening;
- a person threatens the safety of a third party;
- a person has seriously harmed a third party or put a person's life in danger;
- a person threatens the safety of our staff or the delivery of our service;
- we suspect or are told of an impending act of terrorism;
- the Police or another Authority with the power demands us to break confidentiality;
- there is a legal requirement to provide information (eg. following receipt of a court order).
In these cases we will break confidentiality without consent and provide necessary information to emergency services, Police, legal entities etc.
